Keep Yourselves in the Love of God

¹⁷ But you, ^(A)beloved, ^(B)ought to remember the words that were spoken beforehand by ^(C)the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ,

¹⁰ as it is written:

²³ For the wages of ^(A)sin is death, but the gracious gift of God is ^(B)eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

³⁷ But in all these things we overwhelmingly ^(A)conquer through ^(B)Him who loved us. ³⁸ For I am convinced that neither ^(C)death, nor life, nor ^(D)angels, nor principalities, nor ^(E)things present, nor things to come, nor powers, ³⁹ nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing will be able to separate us from ^(F)the love of God that is ^(G)in Christ Jesus our Lord.

^24 (A)Do you not know that those who run in a race all run, but only one receives ^(B)the prize? ^(C)Run in such a way that you may win. ²⁵ Everyone who ^(D)competes in the games exercises self-control in all things. So they do it to obtain a perishable ^(E)wreath, but we an imperishable. ²⁶ Therefore I ^(F)run in such a way as not to run aimlessly; I box in such a way, as ^[a]to avoid ^(G)hitting air; ²⁷ but I strictly discipline ^(H)my body and make it my slave, so that, after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified.
